Sajju is an incredible startup leader and advisor. I had the opportunity to work with him at Embrace - where he provided sales, operational and strategic leadership. Sajju is one of the few CXOs/ operators who can add value across the stages a startup - from zero to one, and beyond.

Equally important- he knows how to balance the impact with the need to build a sustainable and scalable operation.

Embrace was a multiple-award-winning medical device startup whose infant warmers were recognised by the World Health Organisation as one of the top innovations in global health, and went on to reach more than one million babies across 30 countries.

Backed by some of the most prominent names in impact capital, including Vinod Khosla’s Khosla Impact Fund, Jeff Skoll-backed Capricorn Investment Group, and Salesforce founder Marc Benioff, Embrace was recognised by The Economist Innovation Award, the Fast Company Innovation Award, TED, and the Schwab Foundation for Social Entrepreneurship.

  • Helped scale an early-stage medical device company focused on affordable infant care, progressing from Mentor to EVP of Operations to COO/CFO.

  • Set up the product assembly line and standard operating procedures in under three months, hired and trained the team, and delivered the project under budget.

  • Led the operations team through ISO 13485 and ISO 9001 certification within six months, establishing the quality systems required for medical device production.

  • Built the operations, finance, HR, quality assurance, and legal functions from the ground up, while hiring key team leaders across the growing organisation.

  • Designed the production, supply chain, and after-sales service systems and led a cost-reduction programme that lowered product COGS by 43% within two years.

  • Helped negotiate a seven-figure partnership with GE Healthcare and scale infant warmers that have now (2026) reached more than 1 million babies across 25 countries.
