When I first started learning about
AI in 2021, something clicked.
I'd seen shifts like this before: computers, internet, smartphones. Each reshaped how people thought, worked, and built.
GenAI is going to transform society more profoundly than anything before it.
The real question isn't what AI can do. It's what's left for us.
Critical thinking. Judgement. Wisdom. The things you can't prompt your way into.
AI for Decision Makers
It started with the Harvard Club of Bengaluru, where I've run monthly AI sessions since April 2024 for fellow alumni, leaders in their respective fields, who wanted to understand how AI could be used to make smarter high-value decisions.
From there it grew to the Big, Bold & Brave, Harvard APAC Regional Conference in Sri Lanka and then with the HBS Club of India in Delhi.
An open model
Requests kept surfacing outside the Harvard Club. Chairpersons and CEOs who had heard about the sessions reached out.
Separately, one of my visits took me to a rural school, where a ninth-grade girl showed a sharpness and curiosity about AI. What she didn't have was the infrastructure, the curriculum, or trained teachers to take that curiosity anywhere. That gap stayed with me.
And thus AI for Decision Makers evolved into an open model for global senior leaders across sectors and industries.
The profits fund Antarbal, an initiative bringing AI education to rural schools in the country.
A recent engagement came with Arvind Ltd, a ₹20,000-crore Indian conglomerate. Twenty-five of their senior-most executives flew in from across the country for a tailor-made AI for Decision Makers workshop.
The model is now moving beyond India, with a partnership underway in Singapore.
Workshops that teach judgment, not tools
I don't teach tools, which change every few months, and whatever's cutting-edge today will be table stakes by the next quarter. I teach judgment: how to think with AI, where its guardrails sit, what it's reliable for and what it will confidently get wrong. The kind of judgment that doesn't go obsolete.
The workshops are hands-on, deliberately so. More than half of every session is the executives themselves, working live on their own real problems, while I coach them through it.
