How Much More?

Our 'Desire for More' is at the root of our sustainability challenges. To achieve balance with nature we need a "Culture of Enough".

But how?? Capitalism feeds off constant consumption and requires companies to keep growing. Socialism and Communism haven't worked as economic systems.

We need to think beyond individual actions and focus our thoughts on systems thinking. Only a macro level shift can help us build a truly sustainable future.

Is there a new economic system that can encourage and enable sustainability?

PS: In my opinion, the only solution that works with the current model of capitalism is if we crack nuclear fusion tech and have cheap, clean, and unlimited energy.

Then, everyone can have more because natural resources become unlimited. We will also have the unlimited energy needed to clean up pollution and bring the planet back to its pre-industrial revolution levels of greenhouse gasses. 🙄
